Broadhurst Park is a large park with grassy and wooded areas, wetlands and a dipping pond. With a children's play area, tennis courts, a football pitch and a bowling green, the park serves Moston and the surrounding communities. Broadhurst Park also contains the Broadhurst park stadium, home to F.C. United of Manchester and Moston Juniors F.C. The ground was known by its project name, Moston Community Stadium, before being changed at a members' meeting in 2014. The Park is a 1 minute walk from the Nuthurst Road bus stop. There are buses every 15 minutes from the city centre. For more information on transport, the excellent Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) website contains route planners, to find your way from anywhere in Manchester, as well as downloadable timetables.
