Nearly 2,500 Mancunians told us that ease of access and choice is the key to unlocking a more active and healthier lifestyle. Having a variety of groups and organisations deliver activities in the local area can make a huge difference to someones ability and motivation to move more. 

We currently work with and support many groups and organisations throughout Manchester, delivering anything from chair based exercises, school holiday activity, gentle circuit classes, led walks, health & wellbeing, and more.

Ensuring we have a strong connection with local organisations is vital if we are to maintain and grow the provision of opportunities for Mancunians to enjoy physical activity and movement

 

We know the number of dedicated professionals and facilities plays a pivotal role in inspiring and motivating people to adopt and sustain a more active lifestyle in their communities. 

 

We also know that connecting with local activity providers can feel like discovering your very own fitness support system. Therefore we want to find and support clubs that are deeply invested in their communities, offering tailored sessions that cater to a diverse range of interests and abilities.
