The National Cycling Centre was Britain's first indoor Olympic cycling track, and since it opened in 1994, has become one of the World's finest and fastest board tracks. The track is in constant use seven days a week and, thanks to the comprehensive programme of activities for all levels of ability, is the busiest in the world. From elite athletes to novices, the track offers sessions to anyone seeking to experience this exciting sport. Facility also offers the UK's first indoor BMX track. The venue is for riders new to the sport, existing riders and world class BMX athletes. The amateur BMX track is international standard, with a five metre start hill that runs into a range of jump configurations. Along with Clayton Vale MTB Trails & Skillszone and Urban MTB trails offering accessible, fun and demanding ride in the heart of the city. The MTB trails are for riders of all levels of ability. This facility is part of a unique collection of community and elite facilities governed by MCRactive, a not for profit organisation established and overseen by Manchester City Council, operated by Better on behalf of MCRactive. The HSBC UK National Cycling Centre has a 40 x 38 metre fully sprung wooden floor situated in the centre of The Velodrome track. The floor has courts marked out for 10 x Badminton, 2 x Basketball, 1 x Futsal, and 2 x Korfball. The courts are availble for private or club bookings. | Visit Website | |

The Clayton Vale MTB Trails & Skillszone, Urban MTB trails in the heart of the city, accessible, fun, demanding and will definitely put a great big grin on your face whether you are a beginner or more advanced rider.
