MANCHESTER SPORTS AWARDS
We were pleased to bring back the Manchester Sports Awards after two years due to the pandemic.
We celebrated the wonderful work our clubs, coaches, volunteers, athletes, schools and community groups have done throughout a challenging 18 months. It was a fantastic evening that provided us with the opportunity to recognise the commitment and effort made by so many to maintain and develop sport and physical activity across in our city.
The videos and photos we shared was just a snapshot of the amazing work that goes on all year round by the many volunteers, community groups, clubs and partner organisations – many of whom we were fortunate to welcome were there to celebrate together in person.
Th evening was all about their achievements, offering the chance to pause, and take a moment and recognise how and where they have gone above and beyond throughout the pandemic.
We would like to say a huge thank you for their contribution to community sport and physical activity here in Manchester.
