Morrisso Health has sessions for all abilities, our sessions are led by multiple instructors to ensure that we can demonstrate different versions of each exercise so participants can follow the exercise to suit their current ability. All participants will be asked to complete a Participant Activity Readiness Questionnaire before each session - if we feel that a session is unsuitable we will advise you of alternative activities to help build up to a particular session. We offer sessions in community venues and try to work outdoors as much as the weather will allow, we have the option to go indoors at our main venues
The indoor venues we use are not suitable to bring children along, however in the summer we often move outdoors and the main venues have safe play areas so providing you are happy to keep an eye on your children, then we are happy to welcome the whole family. Please check in advance. Also please keep an eye out for our family activities during school holidays.

boxercise circuits
Each session is different, but generally speaking our Circuit is a combination of six or more exercises performed with short rest periods between, for either a set number of repetitions or a prescribed amount of time. One circuit is counted when all of the chosen exercises have been completed. Multiple circuits are usually performed in one training session.
Circuit training will usually involve 6-12 exercises and is structured in a way that enables you to keep performing the exercises with good technique and very short rest intervals. We often use equipment such as slam balls, weights, resistance bands and ropes.

This is a brand new session inspired by Yoga. Each week we have either a beginners yoga sessions which can be done seated or bring along a mat and take part in the mat based version or we work on our cardiovascular strength and resistance bands to ensure if you can only make it to one session per week you are getting a variety of exercise types in one session.

On Thursday 20th April we have a guest instructor working alongside Kathy - To bring you Boxfit sessions.
We introduce this small group session focusing on using weights and resistance to improve bones and muscle strength. Although anybody is welcome to attend, this is a great session for menopausal women. One of the main reasons weightlifting is a great activity during or after menopause is because it helps improve bone density. When you lift weights, you force not only your muscles, but also your bones to work. The same is true for weight bearing exercises like walking and cardio routines. Therefore we run 2 sessions per week focused on these fitness elements.
So come and join us and get the best out of your workouts with a friendly and supportive group.
